As one of this State’s comprehensive service centers administered by the Mississippi Department of Mental Health, we have supported individuals with developmental disabilities since 1978. Mission

       South Mississippi Regional Center supports Mississippians with intellectual and other developmental disabilities, providing comprehensive individualized  service options in the six southern-most counties.
       Through an active partnership of staff, family, consumer and community, these service options are designed to enhance each client's quality of life and independence in living, learning and working.
